Sisal & Palm Pot Scrubber

A sustainable scrubber to replace plastic or metal pot scrubbers, this Sisal & Palm dish brush is great for heavy-duty yet scratch-free cleaning for stuck-on food, heavy stains, burnt scraps, or grease on cast iron or stainless steel cookware. Each scrubber has a handle made of bamboo, a sustainable plant that uses significantly less water to grow and is less likely than other woods to crack, and will therefore come in unique bamboo patterns. The bristles are sisal, a natural fiber that comes from the agave sisalana plant, making it stronger and more durable than other natural fibers as it is resistant to bacteria, mildew, and oil.

Care Tips: Rinse with water after each use and air dry with the bristles facing down. Clean the bristles (as needed) with vinegar to kill bacteria. Avoid soaking in water (to prevent cracks) and avoid placing in the dishwasher. Place away from high heat or flames.

Disposal: Repurpose the brush for shoe cleaning or general house cleaning. Check your city's waste management information before disposal. If unsure, always consider composting the brush in the backyard before throwing it into the garbage.
