Description
These reusable food wraps are the perfect replacement for the typical plastic wraps or aluminum foil. Simply use the warmth and pressure of your hands to wrap them around plates or bowls to save leftovers as you would cling wrap, or use them to store whole solid foods like breads, hard cheeses, and fruits. They are handmade using 100% organic cotton cloths printed with our own designs with a coating of beeswax, plant waxes, and organic oils to provide the subtly sticky quality without the need for plastics or other synthetic materials. They can be easily washed and reused for about a year or so, and then either be composted or cut into strips and used as a natural fire starter!

XS Wraps measure 5” x 5” and are perfect for covering the tops of cans, jars, or mugs, like that open can of dog food you know you'll use in the morning.
Small Wraps measure 8” x 8” and are great for covering other small containers or pieces of whole foods, like the rest of that uneaten apple.
Medium Wraps measure 10” x 10” and can be used for larger containers or to cover the tops of bowls as well as wrap whole solid foods like fruits and hard cheeses.
Large Wraps measure 12” x 14” and are big enough to cover almost any container or secure large food items, perfect for those leftover casseroles.
The XL Bread Wrap measures 16” x 22” and is long enough to fully wrap most loaves of bread and keep them fresh for longer without the need for any plastic.
The Full Roll measures 14” x 52” and is uncut, made for sliding right in your drawer and cutting down to the perfect size for any of your needs whenever you need it, just like you may with aluminum foil.
Directions: To use, simply use the warmth from your hands and press the edges of the wrap firms around the rim of any container or press them together until they create a solid seal around your foods.
Care Instructions: The wraps can be reused for about 6 months with full use and proper care, or re-waxed to last longer. Simply rinse your wraps in cold water and gently hand wash with a mild soap and cold water when necessary and hang to dry. Do not put in the dishwasher, keep near heat, or use with very hot foods as exposure to heat may damage the wax coating.
Rewaxing: Browse our rewaxing tiles
With an Iron: To rewax your beeswrap wrap, simply lay your clean dry wrap out on a safe heat-safe surface, place the beeswax on top, and cover with a piece of parchment paper. Then you can carefully use a hot iron to melt and spread the wax around the wrap, being careful not to get any wax on the iron or your surroundings, until it is melted into a thin even layer.
In the Oven: Place your wrap on an oven tray and generously shave pieces of beeswax over your wrap until it has an even layer, then place in the oven on low heat (around 300F). Keep an eye on your wrap(s) and remove from the oven when the wax has melted and dispersed evenly- it should not take long, just 1-3 minutes or so.
Disposal: Once your wrap's wax coating starts to crumble and you've already rewaxed it once or have chosen not to, you can simply cut it up into strips and throw it in your home compost pile OR you can use those strips as a natural fire starter! The packaging can be put with paper recycling.
